Today was the first full day - Last night Diggor felt ill and abandoned the tent we were staying in, for the extra bed in caravan with the others. This was perfect for me as I spread out and went straight to sleep. So today we set off for Carnarvon Gorge for the 1st day of our holiday! We woke up at 3:30am and got straight into the car which we had pre-packed and hitched up the caravan the night before. Day 5 strawberry picking; This morning I got up at 6am again for the last time for a week! I got to work etc as usual and we picked the fruit all morning. After lunch the other 3 pickers were exhausted and were discussing asking for the afternoon off, and I was petty tired too after a bad nights sleep.
