I then fly out to Sydney and travel up the east coast ot Cairnes. Finally, I'm flying from Cairnes to Singapore to have a wander around Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Singapore.

Sorry that the Skype wasn't a great success but it was good to see you after all these weeks - mind you, most of the time we had a great shot of Ben's ear and very little else. Maybe the next time it will all go smoothly - presuming, of course that you will be in touch again! It is good to hear from you but as long as you are safe and happy then that's fine.

Just as well your dear old Mum has treated you to an appointment for a hair cut at some swish new place in Chester on your return to UK! Booked it ages ago - must have known that the Ozzie bloke would be no good - how's that for telepathy???
Geraint says that he is very envious and wants to hear ALL about the trip when you get back.

Put a few on from Sydney sorry theres not more havent had much time!! Off to a bar called 'The Clinic'tonight where you sit in wheel chairs, drink from medical apperatus and use surgeons tables... should be crazy!! I think i have lost the photos of my bungee jump which im pretty gutted about!!! I will put more pictures up asap sorry about all of the landscape photos there will be loads more of me and ze germans when i can swap photos with them and put the rest of mine up! x

Wow! Just loved the latest message. What a fatastic trip you are having. Good to hear about the 2 day abstination! - but what the hell, this is the trip of a lifetime Ed - or is it? I distinctly get the feeling that you may well return to Oz or California - but that is for the future. As for today, continue to enjoy it to the full. Of course we miss you but it's good to hear that after 4 years in Sheffield living on Spag bol, pizza and carbonnara you diet has become more adventurous!!
