Adelaide is a really pretty city and we have packed a lot into 2 days here. We visited the Rodney Fox Shark Experience - he is now a shark advocate despite surviving an horrific attack in the 1960s when he was 23. It was most interesting in a macarb sort of way. We caught the Glenelg tram and went tothe SA Museum - absolutely fantastic and made us realise just how much the kids have learnt as we sepnt an hour looking at the stuffed Australian animals talking about when and where we had seen them on our trip, their habits, mating, type of animals etc - it was really great. We also went to the Art Gallery (whilst Rich went to the Bradman Collection) and went down a city opal mine and wandered the city looking at the buildings. We also went to the Adelaide Zoo and the exceptionally wonderful Haighs chocolate factory - the guide was superb, the chocolate yum - what more can I say!
We head off next to Broken Hill and back into NSW and heading for home.
