We headed out to Boston where the high was going to be in the 90's!
We started our visit by eating at Ernesto's Pizza. Then we headed out in the heat to walk the Freedom Trail. The city was really pretty. It seemed empty compared to New York City though. We passed by a very busy farmers market. The visitors center was full of people. We got our walking tour information and headed out.
The first street was very old and had old pubs with the cobblestones still in the street. We then walked to the site of the Boston Massacre & Old State House. The State House is now an entrance to the subway as well as a museum, which is interesting,
We continued our walk past churches and graveyards all the way down to Boston Common. It was at this point we decided that the day was just too hot for any more walking. We made our way back to our car and drove around the city a bit before heading out towards Salem.
