Today we arrived in Franz Josef, home to the Franz Josef glacier just down the road for Fox glacier. The foot today is lets say huge!!! The pharmacist just gives me so antihistamines but after speaking to a doctor on the bus discover i have actuall got celluitis of the right foot and it will continue to spread unless i get antibiotics, the thing is Franz Josef is a bit out the way!! As we thought Greymouth was pretty dull, it did however have a very good brewery tour of Montieths beers, New Zealands oldest brewery. The trip to Grymouth was fine, long tho, left Nelson at 8 and arrived at 5 in the afternoon. We stayed at Neptunes hostel and some how got upgraded to a double with ensuite, sky kitchen for the same price as a normal room, very nice. Hey guys, We stayed in Nelson for 3 nights, partly due to the bus not leaving the day we wanted but turned out to for the best anyway. The weather travelling there from KAikoura just poured the whole day so lucky we were in a coach i guess. We stayed in a dorm with 2 German girls, also on the magic bus. Hey guys, started the magic bus today, all good. now up in kaikoura, went whale watching this afternoon which was very exciting, got very close! yesterday went to hanmer springs which involved relaxing in hot thermal pools, the hottest was 41 degrees! dunc ended up getting sustroke at went 2 bed at 7! all is fine now tho. tomorrow we're off to nelson . . . will keep you updated love sarah and dunc xx
