Day Two: Here is a shot of David and I leaving downtown Upland. From there we headed to SIGGRAPH, saw a few talks, then went home for the night.

Day One: We brought day one to a close by grabbing a drink in Downtown Disney. It's lame. It's just a giant ass outdoor mall full of private shops. Nothing is even Disney themed. And they have a gift shop that must be 3 acres. But we did wander over to the Disney hotel/resort and it was more of what you would expect. We ended up having a beer by the Peter Pan themed pool at a hotel bar and calling it a night (after a late night Del Taco stop).

Day One: Dinner was a lot o fun and it was really nice to see Brian and Stephen again. Brian's Dad, whom I had never met, is probably the funniest guy ever. He had us laughing at crazy stories for the whole dinner. He spends his time as a marketing director for some company in charge of Costa Rica -> China relations. He's been working from Costa Rica for the past five years or something. He told us he could "never live in this country again, it's too uptight....

Day One: After settling in David and I went on a 13-mile bike ride followed by a nice dip in the pool. Once we were all dried off we headed over to a place called Fire and Ice to meet up with Brian, his family and Stephen. Brian and Stephen are a couple of friends living out here I knew from SCAD. We got there early and the place happens to be across from Disney Land so we decided we should stop by.

Day One: This is just after landing. I'm looking a little haggard after the two early flights. Combine that with the fact that I wore my helmet on the plane so I wouldn't have to check it and you get one slightly crazy looking dude.
