Hi all!

Just a quickie cos we're not sure when we will next get the internet!

The flight from Fiji to Melbourne was good but long, stopping in New Zealand. Although we were only in Melbourne for one night, but we loved what we saw of it! We met some really friendly people there and found that it was quite similar to England with Victorian style buildings. Sydney is also great. The city is a nice size, and the similarities with England are quite suprising. The Harbour Bridge is also quite a sight, as is the Opera House. We watched the sunset there today which is spectacular! It's also quite bizarre to be somewhere so similar to England yet on the other side of the world, and in the middle of Winter!!!! The sun is strong and the skies are clear here but it isn't exactly hot!! Not compared with Fiji thats for sure. Everyone is wearing duffle coats and scarfs (a bit OTT as it is 18 degrees in the daytime) and for our first evening (in Melbourne) I was wearing shorts and t-shirt (having come from 30 degrees+ Fiji!) so I got some funny looks :) .

We pick up the campervan tomorrow which we are really excited about! Can't wait to have the freedom of driving around again. We plan to head straight to the Blue mountains tomorrow!
