Day two was all about the relaxation after the travails of the previous day. It was also a day of organisation.
The lovely people at the Black Mountain Agency helped me sort out White Water Rafting for the Thursday and Hiking the Adriatic's highest mountain in the Orjen Massif on the Friday. This would mean I would have to head back to Herceg Novi on the Wednesday.
Herceg Novi is an unremarkable little 'beach' resort with plenty of Eastern European holiday makers adorning the water front bars. I wouldn't want to spend that much time there but although I'll stay at Slobodan's again, I won't spend time in the town itself.
The rest of the day was spent at the little fort on the hill and reading at the beach. 1 novel down a good few to go ( all for school I might add, who says teachers don't work in their holidays?).
When I got back to Slobodan's, I met my new room mate for the night, David. He was from Cork and had travelled through Bosnia, Montenegro and had a day in Albania. His stories of Albania had me looking for an excursion of my own. The tales of crazy driving, crazy locals, sheep wandering around the country's second city and delicious dirt cheap steak wee hillarious.
Settled for the night the plan is to head for Kotor in the morning. This is where I hope to Kayak.
