Smooth flight. 2 highlights: first was first meal, Jode asked which meal he would choose, he said a nice restaurant in San Francisco. He added don't get too enthusiastic it's just airplane food.

Second was Parisana, the aisle seat on the plane who we got talking to and who was very very helpful in what to do and where to go in sf. She works for google and leads an interesting life with them.
Weather is very warm and we took the train from the airport to the city and walked about 5 blocks uphill. Parisana mentioned we would get sore calves walking around SF and I did (plus sore glutes) and Jode noticed all the women wear flat shoes here because if the steep terrain.

Very aggressive Spanish salesman. Offered us a deal for $1800, too far out of our budget, then he tried $1500, we chatted said we'd think about it and come back. He did NOT want us to leave that store and made it $1300. Included case and 9G memory card. We need to compare prices, think we did rather well. HWHL.
