When I travel to Spain I wonder to have fun learn more about the Spanish conquistadors that brought mustang to the USA. I wanted to learn more about the heritage if the wild horse and what makes them so presses. Instead I made the mistake of going to see a bull fight. I cannot get the images the sights out of my head so I being me wrote a letter to the governor of Spain. Would you like to read if?
President Jose Luis Rodriquez:
I'm a 7th grade student at Rocky Mountain Academy of Evergreen. I was traveling the world and saw a bull fight in your country. With respect, I never want to see that again. I will never be able to forget what I saw and heard. The cruelty of bull fighting has left me sad and angry. I know it is illegal in many countries. I also know that it is a part of your country's heritage, but some things need to change. The Spanish inquisition was stopped because of its cruelty. This can be stopped too.
How would you feel if someone stuck you with a sword again and again until you bled to death. If you keep doing this, I feel there is no hope for your country. The bull gets angry and charges and is stabbed again. When the bull stops to rest, he is stabbed again until all energy is gone. The bull's bones hurt and his muscles hurt. Its vision becomes blurry and then…
I saw the fear in the bull's eyes. I have nightmares that I am the bull. You must stop this bloody killing. Please stop the bull fighting. Your people want it stopped too. I have seen articles and letters by your people asking for this to stop. So, please bring your country into the 21st century and stop the killing of bulls for sport.
Well thets my letter I sent. I`ve got one more stop then I hit the road home.
