Paryang to Saga
And the bloody same again, unbelievable, it must have been 300 miles of road works coming off every mile to do a detour I guess that makes for 300 detours in two days that must be a record. As far as I can see the Chinese have so many people they do things in parallel. For example I heard on the TV the other day that they've just finished a project auditing the state of pollution in China, they had 250,000 people working on that one project. Well! I think they've got the same number working on this bloody road. As usual a few offs but nothing serious mostly just sand catching people out one of them was Mark who already has a damaged foot those 1150s are more than hard to handle in this muck. The weight of the big machines certainly shows regardless of riding ability the guys on the F800s definitely come off less. The last shot is us beginning to slide a 1000 metres down a sand hill sliding is the only way to describe it the road was so steep you just sit on the bike with the rear brake on and slide. Not that much fun given a 500 metre drop about 3 feet to your right, gets the heart rate up though especially over 4500 metres.
