Yay we made it! After a 4.5 hour drive from derby leaving at 5am to avoid the traffic. The camp site is set deep in woodland and our pitch is number 18. There seems to be a bit of a problem with wasps around here though. Clare is removing them with a tub while I panic!

The mud here is pretty bad. Clare is even wondering if she should wash her trousers! It didn't help that the rain fell heavily just as we were moving our stuff in and some other family in a tipi were moving out. This turned the forest floor to a mud bath!
