I wrote a blog over a week ago, and added to it, and still not posted it! We have been cruising the Greek Ionian sea, spending over a week in preveza (with our friends Natalie Willie, Callum and Hamish, and meeting lots of other boat kids from France and Slovenia) and going into the inland sea. We also got a holding tank made at last and have fitted it. We then made our way slowly south, visiting Nidri (where we found a swimming pool) a lovely anchorage on the island of meganisi, and now to Kefalonia. We have been amazed at the number of charter boats around, but this is such a great cruising ground you can see why so many people want to be here.Ellen has learnt to swim with no arm bands, and is loving swimming in the sea. Anna is having lots of fun splashing around with your arm bands. John and I are enjoying our new game where we jump in behind the boat while we are doing not more than 4 knots holding onto a long line, and getting dragged along! We haven't seen any dolphins here but a couple of turtles and lots of pretty fish. We have fitted new blades to the wind genny, a new switch panel, patched a rip in the sail bag and have not solved the strange noise being made by our port engine. We are generally having a relaxing time cruising with our friends on callish of clyde before we start heading towards Ibiza in August.
