This morning we got up early and checked out to go to the Eumundi Markets before we caught our bus to Mooloolaba! I slept in and didn't manage to say bye to Sven before he left for New Zealand which was a bit rubbish, but oh well! Sian, Leonie, Anne-Laure and I headed for the markets which was about half an hour away on the bus - most expensive but ever!! Like $6...sickening!
The markets were really cool though, so glad we went! Ended up spending a good bit of money I didn't have...lol. Had german sausages for lunch as well which was AMAZING! While we were waiting for the bus home I skyped Aislinn for a bit which was pretty awesome, but then my battery died in the middle of the conversation so that was a bit rubbish! Our bus back to the hostel was really late aswell - about half an hour, so we were cutting it seriously fine getting back in time for the greyhound! Thankfully we made it though, and lucked out even more because the greyhound ended up late too! Said bye to Anne-Laure at the hostel with promises to go and visit her in Toulouse which I fully intend to do if I ever have money again haha! Saw a few people we knew at the bus stop which was cool, but they were mostly heading on to Brisbane!
Spent most of the bus journey telling Leonie my life story in german to try and see how much I could say...I swear I'm getting pretty awesome at it now! Will be sad to lose my german teacher! We arrived in Mooloolaba around 1:30 and checked into our hostel.
It was nice but had a bit of a weird atmosphere because most people staying there were working and had been there for ages! The three of us had a room to ourselves though which was really cool. We went for a wander around the town, it was really big which surprised us, we were expecting a really small beach town again! Was nice though, and had a big supermarket which is always good for slightly cheaper food!
That night we just chilled at the hostel, we were all pretty exhausted, had some dinner and then headed to bed!
