Part of the walls of the fortified old town of Nuremburg. The walls go for kilometres and are very thick and would have been a deterrent for any would be invaders of medieval times. Nowadays the invaders are the hundreds of thousands of tourists who flock to the city throughout the year to enjoy the history of the area. Our apartment can be seen right behind the walls just under the dormer windows in the tiled roof. Our location was just fabulous for exploring the city and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.
