The beaches and some of the upmarket hotels along the promenade area of Cannes. The town is very up market and a haven for the rich and famous especially around film festival time when all the stars flock to the area. We were amazed at how many cyclists rode through the town when we were there in small groups and singly, there seem to be areas which are quite busy with cyclists especially the scenic routes by the sea with probably a bit less traffic than inland roads.
