The Le Negresco hotel looking from the promenade, our starting point for our evening walk to the port. We rented an apartment around 300 metres from the beach area so this was our land mark to turn on to the promenade and start our 6+ kilometre walk every evening. It was always fun because there is so much going on here, singers, dancers, people playing pianos, saxophones,, guitars, chellos people roasting nuts for sale, ice creams, you name it was happening on the promenade. There are crowds of thousands on here daily, walkers, strollers, joggers, runners, cyclists, roller bladers, skaters and an astounding number of people who just sit and watch the water or the crowds go by which we were guilty of many times. Just a wonderful place to be.
