In Queenstown at the moment, arrived yesterday afternoon and was straight out on the shotover jet which was loads of fun - goes within inches of the rocks then does a 360 turn. Big night out lastnight went to the ice bar then onto another bar which serves drinks in teapots - was different and pretty cool, luckily had a lie in this morning until 9ish - been up around 6am the rest of the time. Today was a big day, ive been off on the Mad Dog riverboarding - yes i think you have to be mad to do it, it consisted of going down a river and rapids which go up to a grade 3, with only a boogie board!!!! im glad to say ive survived - possily only with the help of the guide pulling me back for various whirlpools i got sucked into. then you got a huge wave go over you and suck you back down. Loads of fun if not a little bit scary! Was finished of with jumping off the top of the canyon into the river, sliding down into he river with the board and swinging out into the middle of the river and falling off.

Off to Milford Sound in the morning, going on an overnight boat i think. and then hopefully get to do a helicopter flight before the weeks out.

Oh yeah nealry forgot had the most strange saturday night ever - in the middle of no where up by the glaciers, there was the annual sheepshearing comp in the pub. ramdom sheep running around and everything!!!
