Thursday
Martin checked out the laundry last night and there are only 2 washing machines (and one is out of order) so I made sure everything was ready to go this morning. We are showered and washing done and on the line by 8.30am.
The park has put on a free pancake breakfast which I enjoy (Martin cooked his own bacon and eggs) and then we drive into town to the information centre.
We visit the railway and migrant museum which we really enjoy, and then walk down to the Silver City Art Centre. This is home to the world's largest canvass painting done by one artist and is absolutely amazing. Unfortunately no photos allowed. There was also a chocolate factory and heaps of jewellery.
After this we walked down to the main street and had lunch at a lovely eatery in a converted pub. The meals were huge and delicious. I had spinach and feta canneloni and Martin had a steak burger that he couldn't finnish.
We drove to the supermarket and restocked the food and then back to camp to get the washing in, unpack and do the folding. A quiet night with a light dinner.
