Bonjourno, we are in Venice. Today is our second day here. Yesterday was a very special day. Started on the Island of Murano, had a fabulous lunch, shopped for glass items, then returned to our apartment . In the late afternoon, we took the boat to St Marks square, and Don treated me to a private gondola ride through old Venice. It's a perspective that can only come from one of these small boats that can glide through the canals. And in the middle of this romantic ride, he gave me a small box that weighed about 3 carats....... Mama Mia!! Will post pictures from the boat.... Don and Di
