Hey everyone, I'm really sorry it's been such a long time since I put up one of these blogs, but you must know by now what I'm like with this internet thingy!! LOL
So, to bring you all up to date, I spent most of my time in Oz in Brisvegas in the best share house I could have ever have hoped for. The landlady Tan is an absolute star and the friends I made there will stay with me for life!! I was mostly working as a water and Gas meter reader and this took me all over such as Warrick, Byron Bay and every suburb in Brissy!
I had a wicked time at new year and Christmas when I spent 3 weeks in Melbourne and sydney with Jordan, Graham, Hannah and Keith! I even went ot the cricket in th MCG on boxing day! New Years was a blast, all the old crew from Brissy made it down and I even met my new girlfriend under the Sydney Harbour Bridge as the fireworks were going off!! Romantic stuff eh?? Ha ha ha!
Then it was up the east coast of Oz with my mates Martin linda Niamh Graham Keith Aiden and my girl Deirdre! It was an awesome time, we went to Airlie beach and did a 3 day 4x4 tour of Fraser Island (which included a mental tribe party on the last night) Rainbow beach and the Whittsundays where I fell in love with Scuba diving (I want to chat to you mum and dad bout that when I get back!!) I also saw dolphins feeding there COOOOOOOOL!! We also took in Mission beach, 1770, townsville, Cairns and a host of other fantastic places!!
It all came round so fast and before I knew it, my time in Oz was at an end! It was really hard to leave it all behind (especially Tan and her kid who had made me a new home and also Dee, But Ill be seein her soon in Fiji)
Now I'm in New Zealand and it has been mental from the word go! I've been to a couple of super 14 rugby games, including one on the first day here where I won 1000 buck on a radio competition WOOHOO!! Then, from Auckland Monty and I have travelled to the bay of Islands to do sandboarding, down the east coast of the north island taking in the picturesque scenery, stopping in Lake Taupo to do a Bungee jump(never again) and a 12000ft skydive which was amazing fun!! I've also done scooter riding, jet boating, Maori experience tours, Rabbit Shaving.....yes Rabbit Shaving, and been meeting new and exciting people all over the North Island!!
The south Island is next to come and I can't wait!!
I hope everyone is well back home or where ever you are in the world, I hope to see you again very soon, much love from the othe side of the world!!!
