We collected our washing & ate, before catching the bus back to David to catch another (4hr) bus to the ferry port where the boats leave for the Bocas Del Toros islands. Unfortunately, as ours wasn't a direct bus, it stopped multiple times along the way, which coupled with the rain & bad weather, meant we didn't arrive until the last boat had left at 6pm. A bit of bartering later & Rach, myself & 3 American girls found ourselves a boat to take us out there for $10 each (should've been $4 or $5). Unfortunately, as we were our lucky selves, it was raining, so we sat on the floor of the boat with the 'seats' in front of us to protect us. However, that meant there was only a thin sheet of fibreglass between us & the sea with no cushions, enabling us to painfully feel every bump! But 20mins later we arrived & took a 2mins water taxi across the crystal clear waters to our hostel, Aqua Lounge. This place was built on stilts actually over the water & seemed very chilled out. We dumped our stuff & walked along the coastline for 15mins to the only place open for food, Bibis. The fish was excellent, but during our walk there & back we were having to avoid the BIGGEST crabs & frogs we'd ever seen along the path! These things were huge! We got back for a couple of Panamas (beers) & that was us done.
