Hey all, it\'s been a couple of days now (sorry about that) so I\'m just going to run through everything as it runs through my head rather than going chronologically. So right now I\'m on a bus about to leave Kuala Lumpur for Taman Nagara (a section of the penninsular Malaysian rainforest). It\'s going to take two bus rides and a boat to get there, so I\'ve got a pretty solid day of travelling ahead of me, but it should easily be worth it. Throughout the past few days our main goals revolved around the buildings of the city: the Patronas (spelling?) Towers and the spire whose name I don\'t know. On the first day when we tried to go to the spire we stumbled across a little section of forest through which we hiked for an hour or two which was cool, especially because it was drizzling and had an authentic feel. We then got to the tower but were advised not to go to the observation deck because our view would be obscured. Later that night we were walking around and came across a rehearsal for a massive choreographed dance/parade being put on by the Malaysian tourism board. We were allowed to sit dead center by some enthusiastic patrons and watched while literally thousands of people in a variety of brightly colored traditional garb performed an hour long dance. That was pretty spectacular. The next day we went to a water park which was hilarious. It was called Desa water park and we four were the only white people there. Very few people even had their shirts off and most of the women were wearing head coverings, and here we walk in immediately stripping down. We didn\'t seem to bother anyone though, and they seemed to think it was as funny as we did. Later that night I ate a bad meat pie and felt bad for a few hours, but was fine after that. Yesterday we went to the patronas towers in the morning, which are just unfathomably huge and beautiful. After that we tried to catch this bus but found out we had missed it, so we then elected to stay in a nice western hotel for the night and relax by the pool all afternoon. I think that about covers everything but the food which has continued to be delicious. We have eaten at an Indian place called Hameed\'s 3 or 4 times now and it never disappoints. If there\'s one thing I\'m sad about now that we\'re leaving kl, it\'s the delicious food. But oh well, the rainforest awaits!
