I think Cindy should have showed her mother how to use this site since nothing is working. I wrote a long blog entry five minutes ago and only the first sentence blogged. We had no time to do this in one hotel room with three kids sleeping when Grandma was able to do this and I am unable even at home to upload photos. I do not know what the problem is but suspect that this computer does not have the proper software on it to do the job. Hope Cindy and Karl can see the photos that I attempted to email to them.
The trip was a total success. No question Matthais wanted to go on more rides but try getting a 4 year old to wait in a line that is over an hour in length.
Here are a sampling of the rides that the kids went on: Test Trek in Epcot; Space Mountain in Epcot; Luke met all of the characters and tells Grandma that meeting Mickey Mouse was the most fun. He actually waited for over 40 minutes to see all of the characters and I have some great photos.
Magic Kingdom: Splash Mountain, Great Thunder Railroad; Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride; Stitch's Rocket Launch; Astro Orbitor and about four more rides. The boys enjoyed the parks and the pool almost as much. Oh yes there was Soarin which scared Grandma to death but not Lukas.
Great view of the fireworks show each night from our balcony. Next time - two rooms and clearly hotels with water slides. The little one is fearless.
Brandiss liked the Great Thunder Railroad the best. Grandma did not.
Splash Mountain does really get you wet and Bruce decided to pass so Grandma was drenched. The two older boys loved it and the little one did too. As I said fearless four year old.

Hope you have a dryer day today. We are off to see Dresden, though we ate last night in front of the newly re-built Fruenkirche. It was cool, also rained, had to move tables inside. We will be leaving tonight at 11:00pm to take an overnight to Berchtesgaden.
Tell the boys we love them and we will talk to them sometime today.
Love you
Carol
Florida
Day two. Can you say drenched. It rains harder here than in Atlanta if you can believe that. Rained until 4:00 p.m. today but it did not damper the spirits just the clothes and the boys thought it was cool especially in the pool. All of the boys are asleep and only I am still up. Amazing what rides and games and pools can do to the energy level. Matthais gets an A for being a very good older brother. Never came close to losing any children today but did have the usual fist fights and arguments among the two younger boys. They loved Epcot which Luke calls Apricot. There is a Nemo ride that everyone seemed to adore. In the interactive show where the children talked to Crush from finding Nemo good only Brandiss got to ask a question. Even the oldest boy loved the ride. They want to get up early to go to Mission Space and then Luke wants his picture taken with Mickey. Brandiss is complaining that the typing is keeping him awake so Grandma is quitting now. Everything is good in Florida and the boys had a very good day according to them. Bruce and I had a very long did I say long make that unbelievably long day but we both survived and had lots of fun through little boys eyes.

So sorry, it was so hard getting there. You are there now, ENJOY. Glad the prayers for a safe arrival were answered, especially hearing about the weather. We are taking it easy tonight, up too late our last night in Berlin and so Karl is taking a hot tub at the Fitness Center and I am relaxing in the room. Dinner later and then Dresden tomorrow.
Love you

LONG DAY for day one - two hours late leaving. Great idea Grandma get the kids up at 5:00 a.m. to get to airport and longest tsa line even seen. Finally get to gate to find out that flight was 1/2 hour late. WELL the 1/2 hour became an hour and one half and then the flying was even more fun. Try circling mid Florida for an hour waiting for the weather to clear. All totaled 9 hours to get to Florida instead of 5. Then more waiting and problems with Delta and then waiting for about a half hour for the bus to fill up and take us to the hotel. The last hotel on the ride of course. We got into the hotel at 9:00 p.m. and then we had a 3 hour wait for luggage. No mini bar and room service at a cost of $90 US. WOW what fun. The best thing is the boys were angels until they got so tired. Carol and Bruce 7 + hours sleep. The boys 9 hours. Now there is rain and problem after problem at the hotel. The boys love the hotel and Brandiss and Matthais love the pool even more. We are off for the day. Tried to call Europe three times and am too frustrated to even talk about that. The boys want breakfast and everyone is tired of waiting on Grandma. More later. Photos later also. Dressing thee adorable children in the same clothing - priceless

HI Guys,
Read your blog, Bruce no duct tape! COuld not go to sleep last night until I found out if your plane landed ok, called Delta twice. Seems like you were a bit late. Must have been tired by the time you got to the hotel. Hope the boys went to sleep easily (ha ha). I can't wait for them to tell us about your 1st day - should be awake right about now.
We arrived in Dresden a little while ago, much quiter than Berlin. We are thinking wine tasting as we are staying in Radebeul and Dresden main sites. For now we are just getting aclimated. Hope to hear from you soon, lay out your plans in the next blog.
Love you all,
