The food stalls are fab and of every part of the world, there were thousands of people there, buying all sorts of souvenirs etc. We also have been to the Darwin show which is on next door to our van Park, a real country show. Down to Stokes Hill wharf we went at 5.30 pm and got on the boat, we were welcomed with a drink and nice nibbles and took off into the beautiful Harbour which is huge, we had a running commentary and learned a lot about Darwin. We had a most fabulous sunset and took many photos, Darren and Michelle were very good hosts and we would recommend the cruise to everyone who goes to Darwin.

On our 1st day in Darwin Grahame took us on a guided tour and showed us all around as he had been here often, but he also got a shock on how the city had developed, with the many high rise and modern buildings,at night we went to a very good Vietnamese restaurant in Smith street. The most amazing place and a dream come true to have seen it the height of it, the colours and even huge fresh water crocodiles!! We went to two gorges, so we had to wlk across from one to the other as there were water rapids in between. This is a long blog as we have been out of range. On the way from to Tennant creek we passed the tropic of Capricorn and then the most central pub at Ti tree had lunch at Wycliffe Wells a UFO park with all these little" green men" . We saw The Devils Marbles just an amazing sight! even a wild dingo to greet us!
