Another great day in this neighbourhood!Yesterday, we tour a city tour of San Jose and San Lucas… went to an opal store (wow!) but had to keep my hands off the jewelry… so beautiful.. We then did a walking tour of San Jose, a lovely quaint town with a huge future. We visited the historic church and then went off to a place where they make tequila and did some tasting… oh, so good. We saw the zip lines but they weren't that impressive.A bit later we did a tour of a blown glass factory which was awesome followed by the trip to the famous arch at 'land's end' where the peninsula stops. Here there was a huge seal on the little piece of land sticking out. It was all good.I am so glad we did this as it gave us such a better picture of where we are. This area is the new Cancun and, right now, it is fairly cheap to build here. In ten years, it is supposed to be huge.

Last night, we saw an incredible show in the lounge… the entertainment staff here is so talented. I couldn't help but think how difficult it must be to remember all the dance steps, do the practicing, and perform each night, while spending the day entertaining us each day around the pool.

All is well… found a huge cockroach in the sink this morning and got the maid to quickly come up and remove the sucker… like a big brown june bug. Yuk.

However, we are off to the pool for the day.It is a hard life but someone has to do it… and that would be us!
