Spent the day at Jacksonville Beach. It's the first day that its been warm enough to even consider going to the beach. The water is about 60 but it felt good on our feet. We walked out on the pier and watched people fish. The 3 guys at the end of the pier pulled in 4 sharks in about 20 minutes. They were saying on the news that a species of sharks are migrating north right off of the coast...so maybe these were part of that migration. They were all the same kind of shark and were all about the same size. Kind of like a hammerhead but the head was not as pronounced, I will have to look it up. There were also some big seagull that were brown in color and of course lots of pelicans. We had a nice lunch at Crabby Joes. It was another nice day of retirement! See Jax Beach photos.
I looked it up, they were Bonnet head sharks!
