Whew. We got back to puerto natales last night after 9 days of hiking in Torres del Paine. We had every type of weather imaginable and winds like you wouldn´t believe. But the good ol´tent pulled through. The scenery was incredible. The torres and cuernos (which are in the picture) are each spectacular in their own way. And climbing over the John Garner pass and seeing nothing but glacier on the other side took your breath away. Tomorrow we head to Argentina for more trekking. We will spend christmas on the trail. I can´t think of a better place to be. We´ll have to try to have something special for dinner (is that really possible?).
