AHA! the picture is of Nassau, which is where I was yesturday!
I had 2 hours off in the day so I took a cab with 7 others to Atlantis hotel - AMAZING!

Ok, so I tricked you, this isn't going to be a full on blog because I dont have much time, BUT I just wanted to wish everyone a MERRY belated CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

For Chirstmas I worked, obvs! But it was quite fun, I started my day face painting next to Father Christmas, the fav picture was Mickey with a Santa hat covering one ear - very cute! Oh man I love the American's enthusiasm, EVERYONE was getting painted, even grandparents! Christmas on board a ship is very strange, it 100% does NOT feel like Christmas. So getting excited was very difficult, but I recieved some lovely presents from some lovely friends (anna, siv and hannah - thank you 3 VERY much!) and speaking to my beautiful family made my day :D

For New Years I finished work at 10.30 which was strange for me as I normally work New Years so for once I could actually celebrate! And my gosh what a celebration! I went up to deck 9 - where the swimming pools are - and there was a party going on with live music, fireworks, dancing etc...and then we went down to the crew deck for a party ending at 3.15 am! I started work at 9 this morning!! And I'm sacrificing a nap to write this right now!

So here's something I bet you didn't know...it is POSSIBLE to get a cold in the Carribean, a VERY bad cold...I am living proof! I guess it has something to do with the fact that our air conditioning in dropping ice on the floor of the cabin, and sleeping with 2 blankets, trouser, socks, slippers, 2 tops and a hoody doenst help!
