Fresh off our 4am flight from Fiji we arrived at Auckland airport, as soon as we stepped out the change in climate hit us! We were cold! Even though it had rained pretty much every day of our two weeks in Fiji we were never cold! Felt like England!! We got the bus into Auckland and checked into our hostel, we spent most of our time in Auckland catching up on sleep and doing some shopping, we did a day trip around Auckland and got to climb the harbour bridge and saw a couple of people do a bungy jump off it! We went out a few nights with Zoë, Helen and Michael before we all went off in our separate directions! One of the highlights of our first stay in Auckland was going up to the top of the Sky tower, the tallest building in the southern hemisphere! We went up there and saw the sun setting over the city and then all the lights come on over night! Was an amazing sight seeing the sun setting behind the volcanoes around Auckland!
