NEW York is amazing!! It was so so hot the first day here, had a suntan within first 2 hours but its been pissing down ever since! The weather is totally rubbish but seen loads, my hotel is right off 5th Avenue right near Empire State and been to central park, statue of liberty, across the brooklyn bridge at night-time and the view of the Manhattan skyline is awesome!! Been to times square which is full of tourist but ive been on the bus tours with the rest of them! Going to central park then hopefully on a boat cruise around the island tonight. Hotel is pretty cool but some right wierdo's there! Went up empire state last night about 10pm and the view was unbelievable but was pretty misty! I also saw the Naked Cowboy in Times Square which was well funny - I was laughing for about half hour after that! Spent too much money in Macy's - there's not much else to do here in the rain but shop! SoHo has some amazing shops too i love it. On my last night I got half price tickets to see Hairspray on Broadway and it was brilliant!! Wish I'd gone sooner then could of seen another show! Went up to the Rockerfella Centre to Top of the Rock which is basically a cheaper version of the Empire State - but the view was brilliant - better view of central park but weather was still overcast and misty so couldnt see too far. I went to the cinema on 42nd street one night and they had an outside terrace about 15 storeys up - I was the only one out there about 11pm and the view was wicked - it looked like the movie set in charlies angels 2 where they have that fight scene at the end on top of the building - it was just like that!! New York's been brilliant but I'm ready for L.A!!
