Back In Brisbane now.....out of the bunk beds! On saturday as it rained a bit and was quite cloudy we didnt go out on the boat but we visited sanctuary cove instead, which is like a retiurement village for the rich and a big tourist spot too!! Its like a little village, a very nice one too! Lots of little boutique shops and lots of mutton dressed as lamb! Some massive boats in the marina, quite spectacular!! would like to meet the owners! We had lunch looking out at the marina and listening to a live old folk band. We then drove back via Mount Tambourine, bit chilly up there and your ears pop as you drive up and down! On sunday am, it looked promising and i heard Adam outside preparing the boat! So off we went, loaded boat into water and full speed a head....i love it!!! After a little explore and viewed sanctuary cove (where we went yesterday) from the water, we rocked up on a beach where few other boats were and went and had lunch at the beach cafe!!! beautiful views, lovely food and a beer, that was hard work!! On boat again and on way back i had a go on the blow up tube behind the boat, determined not to fall off and be eaten by sharks, i held on for dear life, much to adams dissapointment and his efforts whilst driving the boat, i didnt come off!! Was lots of fun tho!! That evening, sarah, rach and her mum went to a big brother eviction which im ashamed to say i have got addicted to over here and i hear that one has started in uk too!! Eviction crowd were crazy, aussies certainly are a little mor vocal than us brits!! As Rachels friend is a producer we didn have to queue which was good as it was raining! just like when i went to the eviciton in uk, haha!! Great night and great seats! What an awesome day it was!!!! Monday was bank holiday here..for OUR queens birthday altho we dont have a bank holiday over there! So as it was raining again, Sarah and I went and did a bit of retail therapy...got some great bargains!!! Today im chilling, was gonan upload all my piccies but being dippy i left my camera lead at other cousins house! Off to Byron Bay early tomorrow am and Sarah and Adam are coming down for one night on sat then we come back sunday for my last wk in oz before i fly to New Zealand! Dont know if ive written this on here before but for those that dont know i am due back in uk on 17th July now! bye for now, wish me luck with surfing!!
