Ey up dwerf. If you haven;t left Sydney yet then go to the bridge bar - it's above the cinema in the harbour - about ten floors up on a bridge. Amazing cocktails and view. Bills is good too for some brekkie - think it's somewhere around darlinghurst - can't remember the address though.
Right back to the books.

Woweeee! We're in Sydney at the moment and it's just AWESOME!!!! There's so much to do here and it's so beautiful! Weve only been here 2 days and so far weve been to the Opera House to see Dianne Reeve in concert, walked across the Harbour Bridge, walked round Darling Harbour, been to the aquarium (the platypus was my favourite!), been to The Rocks, the botanical gardens and Manly Beach. We even went to the Observatory and saw the moon, jupiter and the sun through a magnificent telescope. Since that experience was so good were going again tomorrow at nighttime to see the stars! Only one week left now :o( but am very much looking forward to seeing everyone when I get back - it feels like ages!
Hope everyone is happy and well - ooh and if anyone has advice on what to do in Byron Bay and Brisbane please let me know (the Rough Guide is a little lacking - hope its not a sign....!).
Lots of love and hugs to everyone,
Alexis xxxx

Heya Dexster,
I finally got around to looking at your photos- they're fantastic! Soooo many beautiful places, It looks amazing, I want to go there! I've had 3 weeks of my summer hol now, have spent about 2 of them looking for houses, and eventually found one in Islington for Tom, Rob, Mark and I. I think i'll have to practise being like you for old times sake! Apart from that we visited Row and Raz in Cormwall, and spent a day on the beach that they always go to, I didn't know that places in England were so pretty. Luckily it was bit too cold for us all to debate whether to join the nudists or not!
Tom and I went away to a cute B&B in the peak district last wkend, and we rode a tandem! I had to go on the back as Tom was incapable of not trying to steer and didn't like not being in control, hmpf!
I'm very jealous of you on your travels, i'm sure you'll have a fabulous time at the Whitsundays, they're stunning. Say hi to Liv and Aly for me, love ya lots, see you when you get back, Gem x x x

Hello LD - well what a dull and boring life you are being forced to lead, hee hee. It must be so terrible having to trek about all over the place seeing all these things!! I wasn't sure where the Whitsundays are. You know what my geography's like - if it wasn't for the fact that I could spell Aberystwyth I wouldn't have got any marks at all!! Anyway I have now consulted my atlas and found them - more or less where I expected them to be, only a few thousand miles out. Does this mean you get to go snorkelling at the Great Barrier Reef then? Ooh you lucky thing, how amazing is that? Loraine and Kevin said it was one of the best experiences of their lives when they did that. Keep on enjoying, talk to you soon, lots of love and tuggles me xxx
ps A message might appear from UJ in the very near future - the pots come of on Tuesday - yay!!!
Steph

Glad to hear you're avoiding croc's, think they make better shoes than we make croc supper!!
Can't wait to see you, have fun on the Whitsundays (soooooo Jealous)

Hellooooooo!
Just got back from a 3 day camping trip in Kakadu. Beautiful. plus 30'C wetaher, not a cloud in the sky and ice cold plunge pools to swim in. Perfect. None of us were eaten by crocodiles youll be pleased to know, although we did all hold a baby one - kind of cute really. Off sailing to the Whitsundays next - lifes difficult.......
Happy 30th Birthday Stephanie - hope BC is looking after you and youre celebrating in style!
Lots of Love to everyone - missing you all!

Just realised what/where Kakadu is!! This must be the safari/trekking/fun/activity/bungee jumping (??) part of the trip. Just my kind of holiday :-)
Sure you'll all have enjoyed it immensely though, can't wait to hear all about it.
Keep safe & take care - all of you!
ps: all's well at home - the not-very-good weather continues so it's probably the same temperature as where you are.
Byeee for now, love you lotses xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hello LD I've got it sussed now - the reason you've been all poorly and icky I mean. Methinks too manyvineyards and too much sampling of the goods has left you with a mammoth hangover!! Hope you better now and once again having a brilliant time. Going to see Mummy Barr now to wish her Happy Birthday. Oh, almost forgot - we got our postcard from NZ on Thursday and Nannan got hers on Friday. Thank you very much. Talk to you soon, love and tuggles me xxx
