Silver Gap Year
Wellington is a city on the south coast of the North Island. It is the exit point by plane and boat to the South Island.
We spent the afternoon visiting the free museums and enjoyed reading about the history of the area. The City itself has very clean lines and is easy to navigate. Everywhere is neat and tidy, there is almost no graffiti or litter and the people are lovely and smiley. Unfortunately we still have the rain, but it cleared a little bit this afternoon and it is still a bit grey and misty.
Tomorrow we catch a bus to Palmerston North, a town two hours north of Wellington where we will be spending the next couple of weeks.
