Well I have lots to catch up on. I'm writing this blog in Gatwick Airport. I got up today at 240 to be out of my hostel at 300 to be at the train station by 315. I had already pre bought my train ticket and figured out the door to go into since Victoria train station is probably the size of St. Albert. So anyway. I get to the station and the doors are closed. And I can't find anyone (because it's three in the morning). Everyone I asked said it doesn't open until 400. Clearly that was a lie since my train was at 330. So I saw some people in the station doing renos so I went around that way and they told me to keep going around the building and "to the left the door is". Anyway I am going around the building and trying to open every door. I finally see this place with a whole bunch of people sleeping on the ground. Apparently that was the entrance! By this time it was 320. And I had no idea where I was in the station. I finally find my way to my platform and the lady says "oh it's been changed to platform 22. I was at platform 3. So I ran and finally made it on the train. I had never been so sweaty.
So that was today. Now two nights ago I was sleeping in my room after a long day of adventure aka Desiree the tourist day. And these three screaming girls came in. They were all different ages and backgrounds and were cursing like sailors. They were more Americans. I asked how they all knew eachother and they said oh ummm work. And were really awkward about it. So I just thought they were prostitutes. After talking to them and bearing with their horribly racist comments towards eachother I found out they all met in THE MILITARY. More specifically, Korea. They were so raunchy and I couldnt stand them. Thank god I had to switch rooms the next night.
So that evening I went on a Jack the Ripper tour. I peed my pants it was so scary. It was only at 730 but it was so great. The guy was so knowledgable I was taking notes. Just thinking about it scares me. I also went to fleet street (aka Sweeny Todd) after that. Which was amazing but I kept freaking myself out.
Finally I WENT TO THE GLOBE AND CRIED. But that deserves it's own entry!
