Hello Mum & Derek,
Hope you are both well and still enjoying - it appears so. Still got snow as I look out of the window in Denshaw, although finally after 2 weeks is beginning to clear.
Enjoy the South Island and look forward to hearing about it on the blog as you travel along. Hello to Ian & Kathy next time you see them.
Nicola seems well when I spoke to her a couple of days back - sounds like she is settling into this being alone life - so much so she said something about moving you both into a home when you get back so she can continue the batchelor lifestyle !!!
Linds - Have got the tickets for Queen Mum day now. Will call weekend before to confirm when I will be arriving (prob about 10 am on the Wednesday).
Must go - have some work to do - yes I know a banker working on a Sunday - someone has to stem the losses !!!
Keep enjoying.

Hi there, sounds like you are having a great time gill is here at ours for the weekend, something to do with everton and the F A cup, enjoy south island x
Gill here, I've taken over! Hope you're having a fantastic time. Think I've said it before but Queenstown is my favourite place in NZ. I worked for a jet boat company called 'Let's Jet' but I don't think they exist anymore. If you get chance for a Jet boat ride Karawau Jet (the yellow boat on the pier) would be pretty good. If you are going to try a bunjy jump then Queenstown is the place to do it. I think you should go for it, I loved it! The only bad thing is they write your weight on your hand and it was then I realised I'd been scoffing too much bread whilst on my travels...
There's a really nice place called Lake Wanaka not too far from Queenstown if you get chance for a visit. Also, if you get to Millford Sound watch out for the pesky midges they are everywhere!
Say hi to Ian & Kathy. Have fun, love Gill and the olds!
