Took myself off for a day out at Australia Zoo today which was fantastic!

It was previously run by Steve Irwin and it's now run by his wife Terri, and children Bindi and Robert

I fed an elephant, Siam, (very slobbery and wet!), patted a kangaroo and cuddled a koala - typical tourist :)

The koala was so beautiful and she clung on around my neck and cuddled in!

But, it was the crocodiles which really blew me away - they are mahoosive!!!!! One of them was almost 15ft long and my gosh, they can move. The keepers did a talk within the croc compound and fed it chickens - they certainly take their life in their hands!!!!
