By the way, you can do this trip again when you complete 50 years with Waitrose with one year sabbatical, atleaast thats the latest I have hear thru the Waitrose grapevine. Return home safely with the three younger wanaabees. Nice to have you all back home and safe, Inshallah.

I can't believe you are about to come back, it has gone so fast yet you have done so many amazing things, been to fantastic places and met loads of wonderful people. I hope you are not feeling too sad about coming home, obviously it will be lovely to see all of us, but it will probably seem a little flat once you have seen everyone! You will have to keep doing lovely things when you're not working!! The dreaded work!! You could go mountain climbing or something, I don't think you've done that yet!!!

Your photos of Grand Canyon are awesome! It must have been incredible to see it for real - I so wish I was with you. I found Kieran pouring our aqua blue handwash into a sinkful of water the other day. When I asked what he was doing he said he was making it look like the blue sea at Malolo!

Glad to hear you are feeling better now. Would be a shame to have your last leg of the journey spoilt. Photo's of Grand Canyon and San Fran look great and you look really wonderful too. Is it the new face cream? (reference your latest email you young thing you!!) As you are in NY by now and we go on holiday in 3 days I guess this will be the last message/email until you are back in the UK and we are back from hols so TTFN, enjoy NYC, safe trip home and look forward to seeing you for our exotic weekend in Bath in April!!

Hi Dee, It is great to see to you are feeling better and enjoying the Grand Canyon. It was amazing to talk to you via Skype the other day. I had a really bad day at work and then to see you and chat to you was great. You did look really poorly though so glad you are ok now. Just want to apologise to you all if you have been receiving a lot of mails from the offexploring site to say that there have been updates. Unfortunately I was only able to download one or two photos at a time and I believe once I've done that it sends a message each time. Anyway continue to enjoy the blog and pictures.............. (just a little bit more to go)

I'm off to the Venitian Hotel today and may take a ride on the Gondola, then perhaps mingling with the crowd at the Bellagio !

great pics of the grand canyon i didnt realise it was that massive. San francisco reminds me of the tv programme as you aptly named in the pics. All amazing.At least you have got lots of lovely home comforts now. cant believe you are back soon.you have had a truly magnificient life changing experience to treasure forever.cant wait for my 6 months leave to do some travelling like this. i have the travel bug now after seeing what you have acheived. see you soon.
