Just where do 2 thirty something's start about back-packing never mind long term traveling, it's not like we've just finnished college and we're gonna take a gap year! we've 20yrs of crap to get rid of!!!

Even after sleeping on our idea of going, we hadn't changed our minds.

After the year we've had we can't help but think that there must be more to life than this. To be honest Deb has been feeling like this since she was redundant in November 2005 after 16 years at the Halifax. Sadly her dad died aged 58 in August 2006 and she just wanted to sell up then, but everyone thought it was a reaction to sorting out her dad's affairs (her mum died aged 48 in 1997). Plus she'd just started her photography business.

Like we said 2009 wasn't a great year. Deb lost her granddad in January, then Darren lost his granddad in May and then his dad in June. We can't help but feel that we are too young to have already experienced all this!
