Happy tourists at San Marco!! It was wet, wet, wet ... and just a little chilly!!!

Here we are at the Bridge of Sighs, before the rain set in!! We went sightseeing today, including a walking tour around San Marco and also a tour on the canals. A bit disappointing for A and K, because on the canal tour, we couldn't see anything out of the boat for the fogged up windows!!! Lets hope the weather is a bit kinder tomorrow. Checked into our hotel, The Hotel Continental on the Grand Canal, and went straight out for a walk to soak up the atmosphere!! Had to rug up, as it was 9 degrees, but omitted to take the umbrellas! Buon giorno! Made it to Venice without too much drama, although a 31 hour journey, with our stopover in Dubai! (All we saw there was a dusty skyline from inside the Emirates terminal!).
