Fortunately, we found a place in the sun to rehydrate after the gondola ride. Who would have thought that sitting in a gondola could make you so parched!!! Parched es bro!! Ciao! Xx

The 4 of us had a peaceful and lovely gondola ride this afternoon in the sunshine .... what a lovely surprise!!! Weather has fined up at last and it was a beautiful afternoon, continuing to find little shops along the way back to the hotel. We managed to buy some shoevenirs!! Hooray!!! I luuuuv shoevenirs, especially when they're Italian boots!!!

Rialto Bridge! Made it here again today, but this time we walked from our hotel via the many shops and eating and drinking establishments along the way. This walking is thirsty work, even in the cold and rain!!!

Heavens ..... Found an Irish Pub on our walk in the rain this morning. Perhaps like finding a church service nearby at 10am, it was all meant to be!!! Salute!! Xx

Had a lovely evening with a light meal at a restaurant on the Grande Canal, just up from our hotel. Enjoying the peace and quiet of our hotel outdoor restaurant bar area now with a couple of wee JDs and Bwian's cigar. A beautiful finish to our fantastic stay in Venice. Off cruisin' tomorrow on the Costa Magica - first stop - Bari in Italy. Buona notte! Xx
