Landed last thursday nite, suffered some jet lag during the nite.. sore head and feeling sick but not much! spent the friday with Maureen, into city centre, got the bank accounts sorted, seen some shops and got a wee view of the harbour and the bridge, me and michelle found our own way home via the bus!

On saturday Caroline picked us up and took us to darling harbour, we got a wee boat tour around the place, the rocks for lunch, really liked the rocks was a lovely wee market, lots of wee fresh food stalls and clothes etc, got australian sim cards sorted, went to dinner in a noodle bar called wagamamas, very nice. slept like babies from all the walking about!!!!!!

on sunday we had a bit of a gathering at maureens, not for long tho, caroline and dominic took us to bondi to see the beach! famous! lol it rained lol but still nice wee walk around and had some fish and chips.. infact i had fresh prawns in garlic..so fresh they sitll had eyes.. twas nice, straight to bed after.. jet lag still hitting us!

today, monday, me and michelle went to taronga zoo, very nice place, u get the ferries to all these types of places from circular quay quite handy and regular. then to the aquarium in darling harbour (see pic above altho ive cheated, i wasnt there at nite its someone elses pic!) seen these massive seals ..sharks etc.. best bit was the corals section u can touch some of the things..and then to the chinese garden which was completely gorgeous, such a tranquil wee place in the middle of such a huge city!! pictures will follow..

heading to manly tomo, and have booked a surf lesson for wednesday morning, heading to stay with caroline and her new family in campbletown on thursday and on friday we are heading camping possibly gonna see palm beach where home and away is filmed and get a feel for the less populated areas of australia!
