Hello from Berlin (apparently STA don't do pictures of Germany, hence Tower Bridge). Did some hard-core backpacking to get here, overnight train (with a change, which we aced), just a seat to save money and arrived in Berlin at 04:53 this morning. Well it seemed like a good idea at the time. Whatever the knack is for sleeping on trains we don't have it, and so have wimped out and reserved bunks for Mondays train. As such we were shattered when we arrived, but headed out nontheless to see some sights. We saw the Reichstag and Brandenburg Gate before it started to rain. Alot. The only people around were policemen (undercover or in vans) who laughed at us. So it was back to the train station, breakfast and a quick nap before travelling to the hostel. That brings you uptodate, just waiting to check in now, can't wait for that shower and a bed. Hopfully tomorrow will be more productive and enjoyable, with more sleep and less rain.
