Hobos in the Desert

That was Mark's description of our training walk with backpacks! We went to the desert to walk with our backpacks to experience the varied terrain. Mark did amazingly well! I on the other hand lasted an hour and my backpack was killing my neck and shoulders, not to mention the intense sun and heat.

Another trip to Vegas for a backpack fitting at REI. This one feels worlds better. Can only hope...
