Hi all, ok it is official that we aren't too grand at blogging but we have been busy bees and its a bit too much like hard work! So here is a little summary of our adventures since India!

Bangkok - We spent Christmas here and met up with Amy and Mim (our friends from Goa) to have a big night out. The highlight was defo the big bet when Amy ate a bowl of fried maggots, worms and bugs for 500 baht! Me and Deb splashed out on a posho hotel for over the chrimbo period so we could lie by a pool on the big day. Didnt feel christmassy at all and we both had horrible colds but we still managed to get our touristy activites done and went to see the giant reclinging buddha and the kings palace, once again me and deb managed to get bored in the temples (gold gold everywhere!) but we created our own amusement which can be seen on the photos.

Kho Pangnan - We bused it over night to spend new year here. We found the pool of joy and had fun on the new year covered in illuminous paint with our new israeli friends dancing on the beach.

Kho Tao - Had the most exciting/terrifying boat journey over here in a storm, never seen so many people throwing up and crying at one time! We spent many hours wandering the island trying to find a home and were extremely close to spending the night on the floor of a restaurant when luckilya room appeared with THE BALCONY OF JOY! we met amy and mim again here and we are sticking with them for the next 3 months ish so we have a little travel posse going now! We loved kho tao dancing each night at the lotus bar, made lots of friends and deb became a qualified diver WOOOO! we were sad to leave!

Phuket - URGH!!! is all we have to say for this place, disgusting filled with old men buying thai girlfriends, we also appeared to find accomodation in a brothel for the night with a mad rottwieler but we only stayed one night and left once we had picked joanne up, yay!

Krabi, Railey - We had a total chill out here, had a gorgeous beach with massive lime stone rocks but we stayed further inland beside the jungle which was fab. Had some really good nights out watching a thai ratsa band and then the thai boxing night (with evil snake show) Me, Amy and Mim ventured into the scary cave which wasnt so scary but had a gold sparkly rock waterfall. Deb got tonsilitus so had to spend muchos time in bed due to a serious lack of pharmacys or doctors. We were all sad when Jo left because she was the fifth memeber of our team!

Penang, Malaysia - we did our bit border crossing with a VERY long day on the bus. Only spent one day here but deb managed to find a doctor so she began recovering. Me Amy and Mim went up the cable cart thing to the top of Penang Hill where we did a canopy walk through the jungle which was very scary, on the way home we also got surrounded by monkeys!

Cameron Highlands - We are here now staying in the best guesthouse ever which feels a little bit like staying in army bunkers but has lovely people and most importantly scrabble, since we have became slightly addicited to fast scrabble. We went on a trek through some of the jungle by ourselves which was interesting, especially since we got a bit lost, we saw lots of scary animals and were shattered by the end but it was good! next day we went to the village near by where there was a hindu festival and we got fed for free which we obviously all enjoyed!

We are off to Singapore this weekend for cocktails at Raffles, then to Kuala Lumper and then Tamam Negara jungle so its all looking good!
