I was a bit nervous about going to Brewer's Art in Baltimore because we'd heard their specialty was Belgium brews, and unlike Tuck who loves beer so much he can enjoy anything you put in front of him, I'll turn my nose up at a hefeweizen. The restaurant has a cozy and fancy first floor that we skipped over for the candlelight cellar bar with brick walls and archways. The three of us shared one of each of their house beers that were all titled with great names (Dan's favorite title was Wit Trash). I was surprised that my favorite beer was a seriously dark beer called Proletary Ale (named so because it is their "beer for the people!") that was just amazingly smooth and delicious. Our least favorite was the Cerberus Tripel, which we all agreed tasted like bad beer with a shot of vodka. Aside from the Tripel, all the beers were outstanding and the three of us felt in great spirits for what the evening had to bring.
We walked through the city to a dubstep gig at the Bourbon Street Ballroom at the Quarter where Joker was playing. Our chests were filled with bass vibrations and Dan says our very souls shook. We all had euphoric dancing moments, but my favorite part was watching my friends dance with big grins on their faces feeling so moved by the music.
