Today was my couchsurfer host day off work, so she took me out for breakfast as people in Hong Kong eat out and showed me around her shopping district. When we returned home she took me out on a bicycle ride to her friends place just a few kilometer away where she had a vegetables garden. After lunch she took me out on another bike ride to a strawberry farm and on the way back she showed me a small local temple.

The plane arrived in Shenzhen at 2.30 am. I spent the night in an airport hotel and I received 1st class service including a porter taking my luggage to my room. The cost was 300 yuen($30 Australian). When I woke up this morning I caught a hotel shuttle bus back to the airport and caught an airport bus to Shenzhen custom to go into Hong Kong. Today I was supposed to have gone on a tour of Longsheng, to see the terrance rice field and the minority tribes, but there was some mix up resulting that I wasn't able to go there. Instead I went to the old Daxuzhen village, and the Seven Stars Park where I explored the cave there. Tonight I was supposed to catch a plane to Shenzhen but it was delayed by 1 1/2 hours.

Today I farewelled my host and caught a bus to Guilin, where I spend the night in a hotel. The cost of the hotel was 100 yuen. ($11 Australian).

My couchsurfer host was being interviewed by a local tv station making the community aware of couchsurfer. I was taken out to various location where my host was showing me some of the tourist attraction of Luizhou We started of at a local rotating restaurant on top of a hotel where we had lunch and were able to see the view of the local area at 30 storey high.
