Folks,

We took the Ferry this morning from Krabi to Koh Phi Phi. There are 2 islands - Koh Phi Phi Ley and Koh Phi Phi Din - Don is where all the hotels are, and Ley is completely un-inhabited.

The initial plan was to only be in KPP for 1 night, but because it is so unbelievable, we've decided to stay for 1 more and skip our night in Phuket.

We are however going to switch hotels because the one we booked is a bit of a dive... A long way from the good olf four seasons days.

Once we figured out our lodging plan for the second night, we booked a half day long boat tour. The boat was pretty crappy, but it managed to make it.

The tour took us to KPP Ley to a few different swimming and beach spots. I know that I said Krabi was amazing, but this place is about 10x as beautiful. Its the equivalent of comparing Simon's wit with mine - no comparison. (I am the wittier one in case you reached the wrong conclusion!).

We stopped at Monkey Beach (A beach with a TON of monkeys in the trees), Pileh Bay ( A clear blue. Lagoon enclosed by 400 ft rock cliffs on either side. It was only about 8 ft deep for the full KM of it - unbelievable, my description doesn't do it justice), Loh samah Bay (snorkeling), Maya Bay (where they filmed the Dicaprio movie, "The Beach" - also snorkelled here) and finished with stopping the boat in the middle of the two islands to watch the sunset to the end. Amazing experience.

I really wish that I wasn't under Anne's picture ban, because then I could use some pictures to help do it justice.

I am quite sure this is the nicest place I have ever been and I wouldn't be surprised if it were the nicest in the world.

And it doesn't hurt that beers are still 1 dollar!
