It's begun, it feels real now. We are moving to South Korea.

The orders
Drew received his orders a few months ago, and we wavered back and forth about applying for command sponsorship to go with him. We decided that it would be best for our family to try to stay together and follow him to Korea. We did piles of paperwork, the medical screenings, and the interviews.

Command sponsorship
We got command sponsored and everything began. I spent hours on housing sites, looking at housing on and off post trying to envision how my family was going to cram into an apartment. I read every thread on Facebook pages that wives had started for South Korea trying to figure out what to take with us and what to leave behind.

My army family
Luckily, I have amazing friends, who also have amazing friends, and I have been able to ask a few questions and get great answers. One friend of a friend sent me a treasure.
