ok so let me update you on whats been happening for the past few days...so the day after we got to San Diego we went to the Zoo...it was interesting so crazy animals you would describe as a hiena cross with a zebra with a sucker face lol was there...and otehr crazy ones...it was really sad to see them in cages though...there enclosures were alot smaller than the ones we have in australia...the space for the lions was as big as my house..which isnt big...so after we went to the zoo we went to the marina and looked at army ships and explored the place whoever we seemed to have trouble with catching the right bus and we were supposed to get back to the hostel before dark but that plan went out the window and we spent dinner time sitting on the side of the road waiting for a bus that seemed it would never come...so that was fun! and then the next day we went to Sea World...god that was a let down...so tiny and no where near as interetsing as our Sea World they just had some animals, some whales and the shows they did seemed like animal cruelty..they had otters and seals singing ricky martins "she bangs" and they had killer whales doing flips..we couldnt watch it it was soo cruel...so we got bored with that place and left there....then the next day which was yesterday we decided to change hostels because the one we were at was the best we have ever beenn to soo coool but it wasnt near anything and no one young was there just an old couple soo we wanted a more exciting scenery...so now we are staying right on the beach and its the worst hostel we have stayed at soo far by room and cleanliness standards but thats all apart of the ride right? lol last night we went to the movies and saw 2012..that was interesting and although i had a very courageous attempt at begging to stay till midnight to watch the first new moon my attempts failed...although we got out of our movie at about 6.30 and there was already a line up for new moon and we did a quick count to estimate how many twihards there were (all girls with the random miserable boyfriend) and we estimated the linup at 2000. there were 20 cinemas there so they were going to play the movie on in all those 20 cinemas.so im going to try and get there to see it today or tomorrow...but a sure plan for today is...a tour to Tijuana! our hostel is taking a agroup of us down for 25 each return and tehy included a price list for pubs...and a beer is $1..and all pubs and clubs supply free tquila shots to anyone..isnt that crazy! im excited to see what its like though....so until next time....
